...It's hard to believe it's Thursday again already! This week flew by....As always, I have much to be thankful for on this Thankful Thursday.....
.....I am thankful for my healthy family
.....I am thankful for the kick in the rear I got from reading This post on Laced with Grace this morning...I'll tell ya, there is nothing like good old fashion conviction to make you get things done girls! I've been cleaning like a mad woman all afternoon!
....I am thankful that with great effort and much patience the lady at the shoe store and myself managed to get my child in some shoes that fit. This was NOT a pleasurable experience. He just does not have the time to be bothered with shoe fittings and things like, you know...sitting down for more than 3 seconds.
....I am thankful that he was exhausted enough to go to sleep with no fight. Mama is whooped today! (what with the conviction, and shoe fittings, and cleaning and all!)
...I am thankful that my child's favorite word to say right now is "mama". I realize that eventually this will drive me up the wall when repeated over and over, for hours, even days on end....but for now, I adore hearing it. I also love hearing him say "thank you" it's just the cutest thing ever! He knows just when to say it.....he is just sooo smart!....(you have my permission to leave your computer if you'd like to upchuck due to all this uncharacteristic sappiness!)
That should do it for today, I don't want you all thinkin I'm goin too soft and all....
If you'd like to participate in Thankful Thursday,...or just read the Thankfuls of other Thankfuls...visit Sting My Heart!
Don't forget about Fit4Life Fridays starting tomorrow, right here at my place! Everyone is invited!

Oh my gosh, I am so touched that my post inspired anyone! God has been speaking to my heart about this for a while so I had to share!
Love that vacuum photo! LOL! Trying on shoes is a nightmare sometimes, isn't it? It's so stressful!
Blessings to you and happy cleaning!
Girl - you do crack me up every time I stop by :) -
I have to agree - Terri's post was very convicting. It is so hard to clean after a long day in the office, so much of my cleaning is 'reserved' for the weekend...
I am sure that your little guy keeps you running right now - oh, make that the next 18 years *grin* -- just telling you how it is...
Thank you so much for sharing your grateful heart with us this week.
Be blessed today and always.
That was so cute. I miss hearing "Mama." They get too big to call you that, especially in front of their friends, so enjoy it while it lasts! :-)
Have a wonderful weekend!
Enjoyed your post, bless you.
I second everyone else about the LWG post ~ very convicting and motivating! So happ your sweet little one is giving you some "momma" love! What a tender age he is at! Have a wonderful TT!
I know how shoe fittings are..LOL Glad you got all done you wanted done. Blessings to you this week. Your posts and blog always make me smile.

I'm laughing to myself, because just this morning I told my kids I'm changing my name. "Momma" is no longer my name. They laughed and so did I. Thanks for sharing and I remember how excited I was when each one of them learned to say it, now if they would only learn to say "Dad". LOL.
I equally loved that post by Terri - being idle is just not something I like to do, but I must be careful about what I do when I am not idle. :)
Leave the post to upchuck, NO WAY! They are only this young once....
Loved this list, and Terri is a blessing!!!
Have a great day.
Awww! My 2 year old has been saying "thank you" for a while and I know what you mean when you say he know just when to say it. And it is sooo cute!
I am soooo already ready to hear the words mama. I guess I'm rushung it don't ya think? Have a great day!!
I love reading your posts!!! Thanks for putting the insert from Laced With Grace. I asked God to send a word/song of encouragement today, and it was exactly what I needed to hear. It amazes me how he works through others to get his message delievered. Keep on blogging sister!!!!!
I love it when mine say mama too! I told my 6 year old I was changing my name and one day she told me she was all growing up and would be moving out so I wouldn't have to keep changing my name! I have to be careful what I say, huh?
Thanks for your list!
As always, such a sweet list. Thank you my friend for sharing your thankful heart.
Wishing you a very blessed day.

Enjoy that mamas! My heart sings when I get a mom or mommy. Usually it's "hey ma" or mother (don't know why I don't like either of those two ;ol)!
How cute your blog is!! I found you through Thankful Thursday. Since Angela Thomas books seem to be on your list of favorites, you might be interested to know that I sat and talked with her last Saturday. She was the speaker at the conference where I led worship with some friends. She's great!
All this and Jesus, too,
Dori
Thank you for blessing us with you list of thankfuls...I agree hearing mama is sweet music to my ears.....until they turned 15 that is and everything ends with "I want...."
Blessings
Shoe shopping with little ones can be completely draining! Great list and I love the vacuum photo!

enjoyed our walk this morning! :)

I thought Mommy was so adorable when Lilla began saying, yeah, not so much anymore. Even though she has about 20 words in her vocabularly I hear Mommy a million times a day. And everything is Mommy, a cup, shoes, a pretzel, whatever. Although if you ask her she will point to me. But she also calls me Amy. Hilarious. (Note the sarcasm!)
Have a great day!
Thanks for sharing the Laced with Grace link. I needed it too. Mama is a sweet word..most the time.
Please think about joining us for Fruit in the Spirit Friday tomorrow. Each Friday morning there will be a FOSF post and My Linky.
Hi,
I don't think I have been around your place in a long time. I have missed it. You are delightful and I was filled with smiles reading your list. I will stop in again tomorrow. I could loose about 20.
Gods Blessings!
