...did you know that? Take my word for it! They do!
My son and I were bouncing "gently" on the trampoline that we have inherited (long story about which my husband tells me I have no comment) and he had found this stray golf ball in our yard.
Myself, nor my husband play golf so I have no idea where the ball came from. Although, I do have two labs, one of which has been known to drag up some strange things (remember my neighbors?) She has drug up mops, shoes, clothes off my neighbors line, and once even a case of beer.....I bet one of my neighbors wondered where their stash went! (Does my dog not fit perfectly into our neighborhood??)
...anyway, back to the golf ball. So, I thought it would be fun to roll the golf ball back and forth with my son while we were on the trampoline since he loves balls. Obviously, I didn't think this through completely. Being that trampolines are bouncy & golf balls are bouncy this was bound to be a bad combination!
So, now I have a sore mouth and teeth (yes, teeth can be sore) to go along with my sore eyes and nose that I got last week when he whacked me in the face with his metal tractor (if you have saw me and wondered what is going on with my eye, now you know!) and to also go along with the sore leg I got from hitting the corner of the table when my child decided to dive off the couch for the phone saying hewo (hello) all the way to the floor!
Battlescared am I tonight! But at least I don't have a brush stuck in my hair like this!

Wow...you've had an eventful time lately! Hope you are all healed up soon! And the link to the hair was great! :-)
Ouch! You get into some interesting situations!!
Oh my goodness, you are the funniest thing and I think you should have gone on the show, World's Funniest Mom, you would win hands down.
Sounds like you took a beating. Your little boy seems like a bundle of excitement, wait til he is a teenager! (yikes). You are right, at least you don't have a hairbrush stuck to your head. That was something else.
Laughing my head off about the dog. I just got a 10 week old puppy and she is part lab. I was talking on the phone the other day and she bounced across the couch and took it from me and started chewing on the phone. I am in trouble....
Your dog does fit in your neighborhood. I am trying to picture the dog taking the beer. Would have paid to see the neighbor's look on his face when he couldn't find his stash.
Hope you have a great week and an accident free week!
Blessings,
Patty
Oh, how I can understand this one. I am constantly being in the mouth with the peanut's head, I have bruises all up and down my legs that I have no idea where they came from and lumps on my head from her hitting it with a book while laughing the whole time. She finds it funny when mommy says, "Ow!!" Go figure.
