...is that even possible? Evidently! My baby has been sick since Saturday morning. He doesn't really act like he feels bad, except for being a bit whiny, but he has the big "D" and a low fever. I'm thinking maybe he's getting more teeth....I hope they hurry up already! I have changed more diapers than I care to count in the last 2 days.
On the up side, I did get the bathtub cleaned. I wasn't actually expecting to clean it, but Carter has developed this new hobby. I had the bath water running, and was cleaning up the sink area and putting things away while I waited. I had collected all the dirty towels, washcloths, & handtowels from the other bathrooms and had them in a pile in the bathroom floor ready for the washer. The tub in our bathroom is deep with a wide ledge and he isn't anywhere near tall enough to climb in, so I wasn't really paying much attention to what he was doing, (obviously) That little stinker threw the towels in the tub (which was by now 3/4 full) He also threw in a hair brush, a book, a toy or 20, and the most fun of all.....2 full double rolls of toilet paper! ...Did I mention the jets were on?
What a mess! In case you were wondering,.....(and I just know you were!) The jets DO rip the toilet paper to shreds...The jets DO sling the toilet paper all over the sides and bottom of the tub and all the towels and toys which were also in the tub! ......and 13 month olds find this incredibly hilarious! I thought I might faint.
Toilet paper in our home will now be high up on a shelf.........very high.

That is when you grab the baby, and quietly turn off the water and SHUT THE DOOR. Walk away, pretend it didn't happen =)) Ok not really, but hey it has worked for me. At least I can clean it when I was in a better mood.
I am so sorry he is not feeling well. Sounds like my first child when he was teething. Hope they pop out soon.
oh how funny!!!!
great bit of information to have if i ever get jets and a 13 month old in my life!
Okay...well I'm totally laughing about the tp incident, though I'm sure you weren't :)
Thank you for the comment left on the blog today. What a treasure to have you sisters.
Oh no!! That is hilarious! I know not to you, but it's funny to read about.
Happy Cleaning :-)
Oh no, not the toilet paper! The peanut has been really into toilet paper lately, I have no idea what the interest is but she's pretty serious about pulling it off the roll. ALL off the roll. Yeah, good times.

So sorry your little guy isn't feeling well.
TP does have all kinds of uses for a toddler. Very funny!
Oh my goodness...why do all little ones love the toilet paper? LOL
Hope he feels better real soon!
I did miss you at church Sunday and wondered if little man might be sick, but you know we both have that motto not to call and ask why you were not at church. HAHA. Give him a big hug from all of us. Hope he feels better real soon. I'm sure he did feel some better after the bathtub incident.
Oh my! What a mess, but you can't help but laugh!
He was doing the David Letterman "Will it Float?" game!!!
