Living life through the baby monitor.....

...okay so I'm sitting here on Sunday night at 11:16 PM checking my email. My husband and baby are asleep. Through the baby monitor I can hear my baby breathing, my husband snoring, and I can hear the word of God coming from the TV in the room where they are sleeping. How's that for a combination? The three most important things in my life are coming out of this little white device sitting on my desk. My God(well, somebody teaching about Him) my husband, and my baby. The minister on TV is preaching about endurance. It's a great message about taking hold of God's strength. He is talking about how the same strength that raised Jesus from the dead lives inside of me. How awesome is that??!

Now, earlier today my pastor spoke about how we are to reach out to our Jerusalem. We are to be missionaries in our own community through outreach, witness, through everything we do really. We are to minister to those around us who are in need, are lost, or just need to be loved on at that moment. So, now what if we(I) take hold of God's strength, that same strength that raised Jesus from the dead, and used that very strength to minister to those around me? The possibilities are endless...

Thank you, Lord, for putting me in this moment. For planting these seeds and watering them. Help me to heed your call for my life, and keep you constantly at the helm of the vessel that is me.

Thank you for sharing your faith, and what is most important in life!
Sometimes I get caught up in the everyday photos of life, that I forget to acknowledge the true Creator of all that I photograph! Thanks for helping me remember that I need to share my faith more on my blog, because as your pastor preached, we are witnesses and testimonies of His Truth :)

that is an awesome word from the Lord! We are expected to plant the seed and allow God to water and cultivate the soil!

Preach on, sista!
