...is apparently something I say alot. How do I know this, you ask? Well, because Carter has started saying it! I was getting him dressed after his bath and he climbed up on the bed and said,...ohhhh me!...lol. Like it was all he could do to climb into bed! (Yeah, it sounds familiar!)
Then today I put him in his car seat and he kind of got tangled in the buckles and while I was trying to free him he said it again,....OH me!..
Adorable.
What makes it even cuter is that I know exactly where I picked that phrase up. My grandmother used to say it all the time. She's been gone for 8 years now but I know that it would tickle her to the bone to hear Carter say it,....like he's been bearing the world on his shoulders....."Oh Me!!"
...In fact, I can almost hear her giggle just thinking about it!
Isn't it funny how we start to miss the ones we love so much when a new life is about to come into the world?

I think it's amazing too how we carry things from generation to generation, the good stuff like "Oh, me"! Isn't that amazing, Carter never knew your Grandma, but he's part of her. When I was pregnant for my daughter and right after she was born, I cried and cried for my dad! What you said is so true! A part of me hopes he can see his grandkids! OK I have to stop, I am starting to tear up!!!

I love hearing that. I think it is so neat for a little one to repeat something that reminds you of your grandmother. I use many words myself that my grandmother uses. That is so cute of him! Have a nice weekend girl!
