...cause that's what he's calling me these days. "Mom". Which is totally understandable since he's, you know, grown. He IS a whopping 2 years and 2 months old after all.
Mom: "Yes, Carter?"
Carter: "I need medicine."
Mom: "You do? What's wrong with you?"
Carter: "I sick."
Mom: "Where are you sick, Carter?"
Carter: "The barn."
.............I'm not sure what kind of medicine would work for that, or where to put it!
AND
... yesterday I flipped over to see what was on the NBC channels as far as olympics go and there was an indoor volleyball game on.
Carter said, "They not take they clothes off, Mom?"
Darn that beach volleyball!! Could they not just wear a shirt? I mean, it would help keep the sand out, right?

Aw...maybe he got sick in the barn? LOL...I hate when they go from Mommy to Mom...not sure when that took place at my house, but I assure you it has..most days. Amber stil uses the Mommy card on occasion, when she really wants her way about something! Enjoy these days, and btw...are the olympics about over??
Reckon he was thinking about his dogs that died, when he said he was sick at the barn:(
He is one smart little boy! The v-ball and all their glory:) lol!!!
Holy cow, is he perceptive or what? I tell you, the things that come out of their mouths sometimes just shock me with their understanding of what is going on. And they grow so incredibly fast, so bittersweet!
Take care,
Amy
Bless his heart, I hope him and his barn got to feeling better!
I'm with you on the shirt deal. Only my reasoning isn't an inquisitive child (Clayton yells at the TV in his own language for something he does like, and if it's something he doesn't like, he spits at it). My reason is I don't want to see their perfectly skinny bodies while I sit in the recliner with my feet kicked up enjoying as much chocolate as I can eat in one sitting!
Hmmm...I wonder if I could sue the Olympics for discrimination?
